Nurse / Triage Calls
Nurse calls are handled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
If you have any questions regarding your medical care, we encourage you to call the office during normal business hours. When calling, you will need to provide the patients name, date of birth, a brief description of why you are calling, a phone number where you may be reached and the best time to reach you. A message will be taken for the nurse or you may be directed to the nurse's voicemail. Once the nurse has reviewed your medical records she will consult with your physician and your call will be returned. All calls made after 4:00 p.m. will be returned the next business day.
Prescription Refills
To streamline the refill process we ask that you please request your prescription refills through the pharmacy where you obtained the original medication. The pharmacy will contact our office for the refill authorization. For the most efficient service, please call your pharmacy a few days prior to being completely out of your medication.
* Please allow at least 24 hours for your refill request to be processed and completed.
After Hour Emergency Calls
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 and/or proceed to the nearest hospital.
Our office provides 24 hour / 7 day a week phone coverage by rotating an on-call schedule between our physicians. If you need to contact the physician on-call, (which may or may not be your usual physician) between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. and/or on the weekends, please call the office and our answering service will instruct you on how to proceed.
Calls made after hours should be reserved for urgent medical matters only.
